WELCOME!

We all experience pain, joy, suffering, and growth in our lives, and a lot of it happens in relationships. I believe that the counselling relationship can be very powerful in giving us opportunities to experience healing and growth. My approach to therapy is to provide you with acceptance, support, and understanding in order to help you work toward better mental health and well-being.

About Me

One of my favourite things about counselling is getting to know people and being a part of their journeys. I love to see the growth that happens when you give people space to be themselves, to hurt, to heal, and to dream. Helping people experience their inherent value and move towards growth and healing is my passion. I chose to become a counsellor after spending a lot of time with marginalized people and seeing what an impact connection, acceptance, and understanding can have.

Counselling gives us space to address challenging experiences and parts of ourselves that can be hard to make time for in the normal course of life. We can explore beliefs that we have about ourselves, others, and the world and how those beliefs impact the ways that we interact and cope. We can also explore how our culture, intergenerational trauma, and our own experiences shape us and what it all means for us.

I love being a counsellor, and through my interactions with clients I am continually encouraged to work on my own struggles and grow. Clients remind me daily of the strength, love, and resilience of humanity. In my practice, I aim to come alongside people in providing them with acceptance, support, and understanding in order to help them work toward better mental health and well-being.

I understand the vulnerability and courage that it takes to reach out to somebody for help. I want to acknowledge your bravery and strength. I would love to come alongside you as you take this courageous step.

When I am not working I enjoy hiking, reading, cooking and baking, running, and spending time with my partner and three children.
